RESULTS AND FIELDS OF ACTION
In order to present the results of the interviews clearly and legibly, they are presented here in the form of a table. In the lines, the narrative impulses are based on the guidelines of the interviews, in the columns the statements and opinions of the interviewees related to the topics "Current status of care", "Transcultural care" and "Migration and care".
As a result of the literature research and the results of the qualitative research, various fields of action can be identified.
It would be of interest for Compass GmbH to accompany people with a migration background in order to face the challenges of the nursing profession and to be able to meet the requirements of the nursing sector. In this respect, the promotion of the German language would be an essential factor. Above all, it would also be important to inform people in general about the nursing profession and to offer them information and advice.
Marketing for all aspects of the nursing profession must also be designed more positively at the Tyrolean state level in the future. It would be important to improve the framework conditions, in which case the payment would be increased in line with the academization. The nursing shortage should also be seen as an opportunity to actually change something in the framework conditions and to deal more intensively with transcultural nursing. If these measures are not taken, the care sector will also not be a choice for the professional future for people with a migration background
The project was presented in a ceremonial setting at a project fair at the MCI and officially completed. The results and fields of action were presented and formed a basis for lively discussions, as this is only the beginning of a long road to overcoming the problems.
